For many, being on the river is therapeutic. Chad has spent a good portion of his life on this specific area of the St. Johns, which is between Lake Monroe and Puzzle Lake. The river’s headwater, or source, is a huge, marshy area located in Indian River County. From there, it flows north where it finally meets the Atlantic Ocean near Jacksonville.
