How To Make A Florida Avocado Milkshake

You will have to taste this to believe it as Chef Justin combines some unlikely ingredients to create a surprisingly amazing milkshake. You have go to try this one.

Yield 2 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 Florida avocado, peeled and pit remove
  • 1 cup low fat milk
  • 2 cups vanilla frozen low fat yogurt
  • 8 ice cubes
  • sugar to taste
  • Vanilla

Preparation

  1. Place the avocado in the blender, with the milk.
  2. Make sure the lid is on tight.
  3. Blend the avocado with the milk on high speed until smooth.
  4. Add the frozen yogurt, and the ice cubes, sugar & vanilla and continue to blend until smooth and creamy.
  5. Serve immediately.
  6. Pour any leftovers into an ice cube trey and freeze for later use.
  1. I just tried this recipe and it is wonderful. Justin, do you have any great recipes for using Mangos (one of my favorite fruits) other than in a salsa as I already have several of those? I would love some new ideas on how to incorporate mangos in my cooking. Also, do you have a smoothie or juice recipe using mangos? Thanks
